The Seven Samurai Remake Review

Subject of the new movie The Seven Samurai, will be presented below. The remake will definitely be a great success, yet still do not know if this remake of The Seven Samurai, will be in 3D.

Briefly the subject of the The Seven Samurai movie looks like this: A small village of farmers in Japan is constantly attacked by bandits. One day after they learned that after the harvest will be attacked, they go to a wise old man and asked what to do. It says it can not afford to make their own army because they are not sufficiently trained and can not afford money for weapons, so it would be better to seek some samurai to defend them. They found a good-hearted samurai who agrees to recruit other fighters for them. He chooses seven real samurai to guard the village, battling the bandits.

Personally I love martial arts films and new movie The Seven Samurai is definitely one of the best martial arts films of 2011 (that is if the new movie The Seven Samurai will be released in 2011, possibly release date could movie to 2014 or later). At this time we can share the old movie trailer from 1954 and I will put the new movie trailer here too as soon as it will be available. Until then enjoy this beautiful trailer:

Zhang Ziyi Will Cast in The Seven Samurai New Movie

At 27 years, Asian actress Zhang Ziyi is a star in the true sense, managed to attract attention (both by their beauty, especially talent) leading directors of Chinese movie industry (Wong Kar Wai, Zhang Yimou, Ang Lee) and American (Rob Marshall), and recently making him the honor of being one of the members of the Jury International Movie Festival in Cannes.

The Seven Samurai new movie is on her list but what has courted the actress busy agenda for the next period? Well, it's three films (in English) for the Weinstein Co. production studios, among whom was a remake of the famous The Seven Samurai, of the master Akira Kurosawa. In this movie she will play a young girl, wanting to escape the threat of bandits. Hypostasis will be approximately the same in the second film, inspired by Chinese folklore, in which Hua Mulan dresses in a boy to fight in place of her father who is old and sick (and even if the subject will remember the name of production drawings animated in 1998, Walt Disney Pictures brand, it's the same story there). Regarding the third project, no information regarding it has not been disclosed yet.

All this are rumors at this time about this movie is that, even if it's status is in development and release date was moved from 2011 to 2014, new movie have a director and Scott Mann. Maybe you know him from movies like The Tournament or Tug of War and as we see in his upcoming movies projects The Seven Samurai will be a priority as director. Until 2014 he has other projects like Saint Mary's (2011) or Black Money (2013) as producer. The screenplay will be written by John Fusco (The Forbidden Kingdom, Hidalgo)
